Since 2020, we've offered and hosted a diverse range of programs, workshops, and events designed for all ages and interests. Hosted programs are provided by third parties that lease the space for their programs. Whether you're looking to learn something new, enhance your skills, or simply have fun, we have something for everyone. Tapiola Wolfpack
Ages 7-12
Our Tapiola Wolfpack program is for kids aged 7-12 and builds outdoor skills and resiliency. The children will dive into nature and learn a range of bushcraft skills that will nurture a passion for the outdoors and strengthen their bond with the environment. Skills and activities include: constructing shelters, fire building, animal and plant identification, wood carving, outdoor survival, wilderness first aid, foraging, archery, orienteering, and more. We also incorporate carpentry/building skills, with past projects including treehouse, and a firewood shed. This term we'll be building benches. Our program promotes exploration and creativity, guaranteeing a memorable experience in the wild. Come along for an adventure filled with discovery!

Schedule: Every Friday from 9AM to 3 PM, March 27 - June 19th (Spring Term)
Enrolment Cost: $600 / Spring Term (12 Fridays)
Drop In Cost: $35/half day, $55/full day, (subject to availability)
Note: HST is added to the price.

Tapiola Wildlings (No Program this Spring)
Ages 4-6
Tapiola Wildlings provides nature based programming for children aged 4-6 every Friday at Tapiola. This program is The play based forest program is interwoven with a balance of engaging games, crafts, skill-building and Waldorf inspired arts. Tapiola provides an environment where children develop a sense of self, engage in active risky play and foster personal and relational wellbeing.

Kids Bushcraft Family Drop In
Families
We run 1.5 hour drop in bushcraft workshops for families on Friday afternoons. Bushcraft skills for the spring term include: Animal & plant identification, wood carving
campfire building/cooking, carpentry, archery, camouflage, all about birds, capture the flag, forest craft, shelter building, bushcraft games, and more
Provider: Tapiola Outdoor Education Centre
Schedule: Every Friday from 1:30pm - 3pm
Cost: No cost. Any donations or other contributions welcome.
Registration: Currently Open - Register for a spot (subject to availability)

Indigneous Land Based Learning
All Ages
Keewaytinook Okimakanak is a Tribal Council that leases Tapiola and provides Indigenous land-based programming at the site. It centres on respect, reciprocity, reverence, humility and responsibility as values connected to the land through Indigenous knowledges. It is about learning from the land and understanding our connection to it. It includes both a physical connection and spiritual connection. The programming aims to provide First Nations a place to reconnect, learn, and heal using traditional teachings, activities, and practices.
