Kids Camping (Overnight)

The kids have been asking for a camping event, so we're going to give this a shot. The afternoon will focus on setting up campsites and learning some camping tips and tricks. Families will then have a group dinner, followed by a campfire and stories, before heading to their tents for the night. In the morning, we’ll have pancakes for breakfast before packing everything up.

One of our goals for the event is to give the kids an opportunity to develop some independence and confidence in setting up and managing their own campsite. Of course, that will need to be balanced with appropriate supervision and safety, and we’re still working out the details on how best to do that. Kids will need to have at least one parent/guardian with them (although the kids can camp in their own tent/area).
