Kids Bushcraft - Nature Mandalas & Cedar Tea

We're opening the fall term with a walk in the woods and a bit of art. Together we'll wander Tapiola's trails gathering what the forest is offering in September — cones, coloured leaves, seed heads, stones, bark, feathers, and whatever else catches an eye. Back at our spot, we'll lay it all out into mandalas: circular designs built outward from a centre point, made entirely from what we found. Then it's back to the fire, where we'll put on a pot of cedar tea and talk about why this tree has been so valued for so long. There'll be time to warm up, sip, and settle in — and we always leave room at the end for free play and games.
